Importing a car

A resident of Spain is not permitted to operate a car on foreign plates and must import it and operate it on Spanish plates. The Spanish authorities have recently simplified the process involved in importing a car, but it still takes several months to complete and involves a fee of 12 per cent of the vehicles valuation.

Pets

If you are planning to take your pets to and from Spain they will require a Pet Passport and you will have to arrange their Shipment. Golf

There are over 30 championship courses on the Costa Del Sol - and they are all beautiful jewels to just look at, never mind play on. Manicured fairways and greens, with every facility, it's a pleasure to walk onto the first tee and anticipate a warm day and a cool drink in the 19th.

Ferries-Flights

Brittany Ferries operate a service from Plymouth to Santander, though this will require a long road journey at either end. They can be found at www.brittanyferries.com

Much easier is to fly, as there are many bargain flights via companies such as Easyjet, Flybe, and Ryanair. Malaga international airport has many flights each day, and is within easy reach of the whoile of the Costa Del Sol via the toll motorway (much quieter and easier than the 340, which is busy especially through the towns).
