The island of Skiathos lies approximately ten kilometres off the coast of mainland Greece in the Northern Sporades, it covers an area of approx. 48 square kilometres and has a resident population of 4,200 people. There is also an air of cosmopolitan sophistication about the island no better illustrated than by chic Skiathos Town.

In its day the town with its white washed Skiathos property was the St Tropez of the Greek islands and still retains much of its charm and glamour. Sleek yachts are moored in the pretty harbour while their owners sample the superb restaurants and smart shops of a town that simply oozes class. There is only one road that stretches from the town to the south coast and it seems every corner gives you a glimpse of another beautiful, sunny cove washed by blue clean seas.
